This fiberglass extension ladder is constructed with a fiberglass body and D-shaped aluminum rungs, which are crimped directly to the rail. In the fly section, polyethylene rung sleeves separate the aluminum from the fiberglass frame to reduce wear and increase ease of movement. This model includes a rope and pulley system so that the fly section can be extended with minimal effort. Plastic caps protect the top of the rails, and the rails are interlocked for safety and durability.
The gravity double-rung lock is spring-assisted and constructed of aluminum, with a zinc-plated steel bracket to keep the ladder in place once extended.
